Governance

The DAO governance model is a simplistic yet effective method of governance. Other governance models fail to consistently get high amounts of community input on proposals. The blockchain community is a rapidly evolving ecosystem that can be very complex and time consuming for participants. It often becomes hard to manage tracking progress on multiple projects during everyday life. That is why the Arts DAO has community elected council members that represent the community. These community members must remain both active and representative of the community as a whole or risk not being voted on the council in the future. The initial members are appointed by the Arts DAO them, but subsequent elections of these individuals are made my the community to elect the best people to represent the Arts DAO ethos and help fulfil its goals.

Profit Claiming Process

Returns are paid on a quarterly basis subject to the Jedi Council ruling. All quarterly gained returns go to the Eternal Gates NFT holder who claimed it on the pre-determined claim date. The Claim process will be initiated on http://artsdao.io website on the date determined by the DAO for distribution of returns. Connecting your wallet will prove ownership of the Ethernal Gates NFT and the quantity of Ethernal Gates NFTs held by your wallet. This will determine the value of the returns received. In order to comply with applicable laws, DAO members will be required to pass a basic KYC (Know Your Customer).

Once KYC is completed, proceeds will be calculatedĀ and sent to your wallet. If rewards are not claimed within the given claim period, you will be entitled to claim the accumulated value at the next claim period provided you are a continued holder of the Ethernal Gates NFT. Any rewards that are not claimed within 12 months may be forfeited. Exact process is subject to change based on Arts DAO Jedi Council voting.
